Just kept runnin.
I just got teary-eyed over this story:
Kathy Switzer was the first woman to ever officially finish a marathon in Boston in 1967. Roberta Gibb tried to slip in incognito, but was found out. Kathy successfully signed up as K.V.Switzer and got her numbers. When a race official spotted her during the race, he ran out and tried to pull her numbers off and remove her from the course. But he was stopped by other runners who physically protected her so that she could finish!
Sweat really makes people sticky.
