In case anyone was wondering, I have indeed stopped talking about anything other than running, sore muscles, black toenails, sports bras and fundraising.  On the plus-side, I find myself so much more articulate since the decrease in conversation possibilites has allowed me to fully master all the vocab.

So, if you just can't get enough of the marathon talk, here's a solution: Come to my fundraising event this Thursday (5/12) at El Rio!  It should be a lot of fun and the info is listed below.  As an added incentive, I've put all of those who have already sponsored me on the Guest List (dropjohnson, neutron_x,badgerbag). 

If you're free come on down to the Mission for a few hours, have a discounted drink, see some body art, and we might just catch up on something other than the status of my runner's knee.
 
ALL THE W'S:
What: Art Collage: a night of djs, dancing and divine body art. Live
Body Art Auction at 9:00pm, models painted on site go to the highest
bidder. Silent Auction of donated art by Bay Area artists all night
long with a prize raffle for the winning bidders. Drink specials from
5-9pm. $5-10 sliding scale cover.
When: Thursday, May 12th, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, Models and Artists
show up between 5 and 7 to set up and begin painting.
Where: El Rio, 3158 Mission St between Cesar Chavez and Valencia (just
past 26th St)
Why: To benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, which helps to
provide services for the 1 in 50 people who are living with HIV or
AIDS in the Bay Area.
Who: DJ Tim Pratt, MC Charlie Anders, Artists Tara Murray, Jes Muse,
and Tim Smith and their hot body canvases. Performance Art by Olani
