cuticle maintenance

I've decided to run the San Francisco AIDS Marathon. I have to wake up at 6:30AM every Saturday for 6 months and put in almost 500 miles before the actual marathon takes place in July. Then I'll do 26.2 miles through the city, hills and all. Sounds like fun, no?
